Meet Jeannette
Licensed Clinical Social Worker
Hi, I’m so happy you’re here! I specialize in counseling teen girls and young adult women who have experienced complex trauma (physical, sexual, emotional, spiritual, relational) or who are struggling with various challenges including symptoms of anxiety, depression, identity, low self-worth, challenging relationship dynamics, grief and loss, faith and doubt, or who are navigating overwhelming life transitions.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, fully licensed in both Colorado and Michigan. I have been working in the mental health field since 2005 and have a long history of supporting families and individuals from a variety of diverse backgrounds through child welfare, home-based family counseling, church youth groups, hospice care, outpatient counseling, school social work, and school-based therapy.
I love supporting teen girls and young adult women (ages 14+) in their journey toward a deeper understanding of themselves, their experiences, and their relationships. Counseling from a holistic perspective, as well as drawing from my education and personal life experiences, I work primarily from a trauma-informed, strengths-based, person-centered lens. My approach is relational, integrating various methods and techniques that are tailor-fit to each individual and their specific needs. I offer a personable therapeutic relationship and seek to create a safe and inviting space, where individuals are welcomed to openly explore their stories and how their experiences have impacted them.
When I’m not meeting with clients, I enjoy being outdoors in the sunshine, hiking, exploring new cities, experiencing other cultures, eating great food, gathering with neighbors and friends, and going on adventures with my husband and our three kids.
